Cheding’s Peanuts

With all the natural wonders and blessings bestowed upon the city and its people comes a place like no other,
where everyone needs to visit and indulge. It’s commonly known as “Ang nag-iisang pasalubong ng Iligan”
that has been for over 50 years serving delicacies and giving satisfaction to everyone. Cheding’s Peanuts!
Cheding’s Peanuts has been a pride of Iliganons since it was built in the city . It was in the early 1930s when
Ramon Tan Chingto and Lim Kim Tua left China to do business in Iligan. They would sell peanuts and candles,
and some decades after, the business was inherited by Isidra “Cheding” Tan, the couple’s daughter-in-law.
At first they would just sell toasted peanuts in movie houses, and from there it expanded into what it is now.
Dubbed as “The Pride of Iligan”. Their products are not only composed
of plain peanuts but also with 10 different kinds of flavored peanuts that can be enjoyed by Filipinos everywhere.
